Baby shower and friends

This weekend we went to a lovely baby shower for Lauren!
Lauren is Brooke's older sister and she is having her first baby!
I can't wait until Lauren has her little girl because then we can come over and play!

I said funny picture, they said look at Kelsie. I guess I'm pretty funny.

Spring has sprung

Spring term has started.
I'm taking 8 credits, but it really shouldn't be too bad.
I'm taking some fun classes like tailoring and swimwear/knitwear.
I'm also taking one that won't be so fun, organizational behavior...
What does that even mean?
I guess I'll find out.
I might have had a mini freak out right now at work because I realized that I only have 24 credits plus an internship or capstone left until I graduate!
Can you believe that!
If I take 15 credits in the fall that means I only have 9 credits and my capstone left for the winter!
I can barely get over it.
I'm going to graduate from college!
I am really excited about this, really I am.
Although I am worried.
What am I going to do after I graduate?
Where will I live?
One of my biggest goals in life, other than getting married and having a family, is graduating from BYU.
Now that that goal is coming to a close I feel like I don't have anything really to work toward.
I kind of feel like Rapunzel in Tangled after she sees the lights on her birthday, except that I don't have a Flynn Rider waiting for me yet to be my next dream.
Sorry for sounding so depressing...
Maybe I just need some realistic ideas of what I want to do when I graduate.
Help me out here!
Seriously though, I'm not kidding.

In other news, I cut my hair!
I love it! So perfect for the summer!

Guess who I met?

Yesterday Alicia and I went up to Salt Lake for some fun.
We arrived at Macy's at the new City Creek Center.
Do you know why we were there?
Let me tell you...
Clinton Kelly was there!!!
Yes, THE Clinton Kelly!!!
Host of What Not To Wear, fashion icon, amazing dresser and stylist.
We saw him and it was wonderful.
Then we checked out the new center and of course it had pretty much all of my favorite shops and it is right across the street from the temple making it just that much better.

Procrastination at its best

So I am officially done with finals!
I have to admit though, this is probably one of my most impressive procrastination moments.
Every time I would think about starting to study for finals I would  miraculously find something else to do.
This whole weekend I have simply been trying to convince myself to study.
But instead I found some other interesting things to do, such as:
  • eat all of my Easter candy for every meal
  • restart watching LOST*
  • watch Ellen clips
  • paint my nails**
  • sign up for Pottermore***
  • thought about cleaning my room****
  • reorganize my entire "things i want in my wardrobe" board on Pinterest*****
I'll stop there.
But I feel really accomplished so it's ok, right?

*it has been a year since I first watched LOST and I guess I thought it was time for a reunion?
**the only reason I painted my nails was because the internet was down and let me tell you finals week is the WORST time to have your internet down, but at least I painted my nails
***I might have read the entire first book in one sitting. Was it worth it? Yes, yes it was. You should sign up too! You will not regret it! Then add me as a friend! My username is LeviosaGold10965. So what if I might want to make that my nickname, don't judge. Also I was put into Hufflepuff house, slight disappointment, but I'm not going to lie, I totally expected it. All I can think of is a potential meme with a saying that says "I'm so happy I got into the Hufflepuff house! Said no one ever.
****key word THOUGHT haha this did not happen
*****this was an amazing feat! You have to understand that I have had my pinterest now for almost a year and when I first got it all I did was pin clothes and so there were over a thousand pins on that board and I really just need to clean it out.

Finals week

Today was the first reading day before finals and what did I do?
Just spent 8 hours, yes that's right I said 8 hours, in the sewing lab.
Even though it felt like forever, it was worth it because I finished my blazer!
Then I came home and watched a couple hours of Bones.
And ate some more Easter candy (this seems to be most of the food I am eating lately).
So obviously today was an extremely productive day.
Tomorrow I will be better.
Work and study. That is all I'll do tomorrow.
Only 4 finals. I can do this.
Then spring term starts the next week...and I'm taking 9 credits...but I got this!
Excuse me if I'm crazy for the next couple of months.

As of Late

Remember how I was going to do that big update post of the weeks that I didn't blog?
Well I pretty much decided that wasn't going to happen.
That is until I was looking through some of my pictures and realized I have some good pictures to put on here!
So instead of an actual update, it's really just going to be a ton of pictures from the last couple of weeks.

And it takes too long to describe what all of these are so you can just guess.
Make up a story if you like,
If it's any good let me know haha.

Last weekend, a weekend of firsts

I had an extremely busy weekend.
It was nice to have a really fun weekend before finals start this week.

Hope you had a good weekend too!

Hamlet meets Queen

This semester I have been in a class called History of Creativity.
It's such a fun class!
My favorite part of the class is the final project.
Last year when I took the first part of the class, I did sketches of clothing for each era/civilization we learned about.
This year I might have procrastinated a little bit...but luckily I was in a group with Kaitlyn and Spencer and we were able to really crank it out the last couple of nights before it was due.
In the class we had to read Hamlet.
So for our final project we decided to do a scene from Hamlet, specifically Act III, Scene IV.
If you haven't read Hamlet this may not mean anything to you, but this is the scene when Hamlet kills Polonius.
We also decided to make it a little more interesting by making it a puppet show!
That's right we made puppets.
When I was in high school and read Hamlet my group did this same scene.
We did a slightly different rendition.
We changed the song Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen to fit the scene.
So for our project in History of Creativity we did a puppet show of our Hamlet version of Bohemian Rhapsody.
It rocked!
Enjoy!

I'm still alive

Oh hey, I'm still here.
I've just been a little busy.
School has been slightly crazy the past couple of weeks.
Some good news is that my business made our goal!
Very exciting to know I won't be failing my business class...
Something else that I have recently found is that I can actually graduate next April!
Isn't that crazy!
A year from now I could be almost done with college!

Anyways those are basically the most exciting things going on right now.
I'll post later about the past couple of weeks [maybe], I have a draft that I started a while ago...

Also I'm thinking of changing my blog.
New name?
New layout?
Any ideas?
