Happy Birthday Kar-Kar

Today is Karlie's birthday!!!
We have been celebrating all weekend.
We started on Thursday night with Hunger Games.
Then Friday we spent the evening looking for crafts to do with Kelly, but then just ending up watching Sherlock Holmes. (I may have fallen asleep in the middle of it...)
Then today we woke up bright and early and went to breakfast at Magleby's.
We met the cutest old woman that worked there.
She was collecting our email address to send us coupons and the like.
We told her  that is was Karlie's birthday and she gave her a free piece of cake!
It was the sweetest thing! (pun intended)
I pretty much wanted to adopt her to be my grandma.
Then we headed to campus; I took a quick quiz while Katie and Karlie dropped somethings off.
Then we headed over to the Vocal Point performance!
They were amazing! So talented!
Then we went shopping and ate lunner (between lunch and dinner) at Texas Roadhouse.
So much meat! So full!
Now we are watching Downton Abbey and expecting some delicious cheesecake for dessert.

Happy Birthday Karlie!!!

May the Odds be Ever in Your Favor

Everyone go see it. Now.
It was probably one of the best adaptations of a book I have ever seen.
I got these tickets for Karlie's birthday (which is tomorrow).
It was just the 2 of us, but it was so fun!

 Karlie went as Prim.
 I went as Effie Trinket.
I made my costume out of this lovely dress below.
I feel like it turned out pretty good!
May the Odds be Ever in Your Favor!!!

Hunger Games!!!!

10 more days until Hunger Games!!!
I am so excited!
Now all I need to do now is decide how I should dress up.

Help me decide between three choices:

1. Wear a Hunger Games shirt (really exciting, I know...)

2. Dress up as a tribute, you know grungy, wilderness-esque clothes

3. Dress up as a capitol person, crazy colored hair, bright clothes, intense make-up

Let me know what you think I should do for the premiere!

Happy Birthday Daddy!!!

Today is my daddy's birthday!!!
To celebrate I had mexican food and lots of sugar!
Here are some things that I love about my dad:
  1. He taught me all of the corniest jokes and everyone thinks I'm funny.
  2. He taught me all about Lord of the Rings and Star Wars and superheroes, all of them.
  3. He is always happy, always.
  4. He likes to meet new people and people like to meet him.
  5. He taught me to love the gospel.
  6. He told me his jam is "I'm sexy and I know it" and that makes him cool.
  7. I just love to hear his voice.
  8. He is always encouraging me to follow my dreams.
  9. He showed me spicy food is delicious.
  10. He taught me that tears can make you laugh and there is no point in being sad for very long.
I love you Daddy!
I wish I could be with you to celebrate!
