I like orange juice

So I came to the realization that I actually like orange juice.
This might come as a surprise to many of you that know me.
I HATED orange juice for basically my whole life.
I usually try it like once a year to see if I still hate it and I always do.
But all of a sudden in the last couple of weeks I craved it and had to have it.
I drank an entire carton (with Katie and Brooke's help, but I drank most of it) in 3 days.
That is a pretty big deal.
I just wanted to let the world that I now like orange juice.
This might sound insignificant or whatever, but this is my blog and I can write about anything that I want and this is what I am choosing to entertain you with.
In other news, I'm going home tomorrow!!!!
I am so excited!!!
I haven't been home since Christmas, so I am SO ready to go back, even if it's only for a few days.
Welp, I'm going to bed because I have to get up bright and early.

Ok I guess I lied

So I guess I lied about the blogcation being over.
I promise I won't make anymore promises that I don't plan on keeping.
This blog post is dedicated to my dad and my sister, Karlie because they are the only ones that missed reading about my super exciting life haha.
To help make up for it I will give you a nice list of things that I have enjoyed as of late via Youtube and other time consuming websites.
  1. One word: You will spend countless hours answering trivia questions that no one really cares about, except for the Top 200 Harry Potter characters quiz, everyone cares about that, right?
  2. WARNING: This video may disturb you with the creepy balding man and whole denim outfit, but you will definitely get this catchy tune stuck in your head.
  3. After that you will need some cheering up and this will surely do the trick.
  4. Just Say Amen Already I might have already looked through this entire tumblr twice. So funny.
  5. With Christmas around the corner this video is appropriate.
  6. Is someone's birthday coming up soon? Well fear not there is always a good video on YouTube to help you wish that special someone happy birthday!
  7. I just want to win once, is that too much to ask?
  8. Here is another catchy tune that will be stuck in your head for days, weeks, I might even say months.
  9. I tried to find a good Thanksgiving song. I searched on YouTube and on Google and nothing was good enough for this post unfortunately. If only someone would make a catchy Thanksgiving song I would be oh so very happy.
  10. Lastly, anything from Studio C. They are hilarious and I am so glad they have a show on BYUtv now.

Blogcation is over

Hey everyone!
I'm back!
Sorry, you probably thought I died.
I know I left you in a very awkward position of not even finishing my vacation.
Well I PROMISE to get back to that, but at this point I'll just give you a small update in my life.

10 Things that have happened in my life recently:
  1. I applied for graduation!
  2. Met with my school adviser for the first time to complete #1
  3. I started my second to last semester of school!
  4. My best friend, Kaitlyn got MARRIED!
  5. I got a promotion at work and now I do cool things like count the safe.
  6. I found my wedding dress on Pinterest! Well sort of, I found a top part I like and a bottom part I like and I would just put the two together.
  7. Applied to the Disney College Program and sadly didn't get in, but maybe I'll apply again in 6 months.
  8. Started watching Boy Meets World every morning before school starts. I started with them in 8th grade and now they are in their senior year.
  9. I got a new roommate, Shannon, and she loves Harry Potter* more than I do. We have become fast friends.
  10. Started thinking about the future: planning my last 9 credits next semester, thinking of what I want to do when I graduate*, maybe planning a trip to Europe?, etc.
So there you have it, a little about my life right now.
I'll be sure to touch on some more of these soon, I PROMISE.
I'll leave you with this awesome picture of Kaitlyn and I on her wedding day:

*Speaking of Harry Potter, we are planning our second annual Harry Potter Party and I am having a hard time deciding what to dress up as (these are the things that plague my mind at night). I would like to dress up as Luna Lovegood because I have her wand, but there is one huge problem with that, I don't have blonde hair. So if you happen to have a long, blonde wig let me know. I might also go as the trolley lady on the Hogwarts Express. I actually have some good ideas for that one too. If you have any other suggestions please let me know!

I wish I could live at Harry Potter World

Sorry, it's been a while.
I'm back from an awesome vacation with the family.
Happy to be home and sleep in my own bed, but sad to leave such a magical place.
Here are a couple of statistics from the trip.

Weddings and Olympics

Last Thursday I went to a couple of weddings for 2 of the best girls I know.
I worked with Megan and Melinda in the box office and they have become some of my best friends.
Megan and Melinda were also roommates this past year and I guess they liked each other so much they decided to have their weddings on the same day! :)
So I did a little bit of wedding hopping on Thursday.
Congratulations to Megan and Alex AND Melinda and Tim!

Then last Friday, as I'm sure most of you already know, the Olympics started!
To kick start our celebration we had some friends come over to watch the opening ceremonies.
Yay for self-timer!
Also speaking of the Olympics, have you seen this?
You're welcome.

Just a whole lot of happiness going on in these parts.
And if life couldn't get any better I'm leaving for FLORIDA TOMORROW!!!!
Please excuse me as I spend some time with my family, Mickey Mouse, and Harry Potter.
See you in a week!

Also it's Harry Potter's birthday tomorrow!!!
Happy Birthday Harry!!!
